Parklands Christian College is preparing for our next season of growth and are currently seeking applicants who have a passion for supporting teachers and students in the role of Project Officer. There is more than one Project Officer position available as follows:
Project Officer – Primary School (Full-Time, term time only) Project Officer – Sports & Whole School (preferably Full-Time, term time only) About Us Parklands Christian College is a growing school located on 45 acres of land on the southern corridor from Brisbane to Beaudesert in Park Ridge, QLD. We are a Christian, co-educational school of nearing 1000 students, made up of P-12, as well as our Early Learning Centre and Outside School Hours Care facilities.

About the Role Our Project Officers play a crucial role in assisting with the planning of events and conducting administrative tasks related to student services.
Project Officer – Primary School (Full-Time, term time only) Our current Project Officer is moving into a new role within our College, and we are now looking for an exceptional administrative minded person to take their place.
Project Officer – Sports (3 days) and Whole Campus (2 days) This is a 12 month maternity leave position that officially starts in Term 4, 2024 but we would like to offer a transition period at the end of this Term. We would prefer this role to be a full-time position, but would consider two part-time roles for the right applicants.
Some of the key responsibilities include: General Duties Undertake specialist project activities appropriate as required to achieve the outcomes expected of the project. Implement and monitor a project's operational plan and phases, including the coordination of activities of a variety of staff, students and families associated with achieving the project objectives. Work as a member of a team of multi skilled officers who each report to the Team Leader on strategic matters pertaining to their particular field of activity. Projects Participate in and undertake a designated project and organisational change activities. Resolve operational problems and assist in the development and implementation of initiatives, policies, processes and systems for effective and efficient administration of departmental services. Assist in coordinating the implementation of policies, practices and procedures, relating to the project. Attend meetings with project officers to discuss, evaluate and revise systems and procedures.
