Project Officer, Public Health Epidemiology and Reporting
Full-time TemporaryCloses: 28 November 2024Details: The Preparedness, Planning and Surveillance Branch is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Project Officer to fill a temporary fixed period vacancy in the Public Health Epidemiology, Reporting and Data Science Team.
The role involves facilitating stakeholder input and contributing to the creation and management of documentation related to databases, systems and (automated and manual) processes that are essential for effectively managing notifiable conditions and responding to emerging public threats. The successful individual will have demonstrated experience working in a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment, with well-developed oral and written communication skills.
Key to this role is an understanding of data, reporting, and/or database systems. This may include technical knowledge of, but not limited to, R, SQL Management, Excel, and PowerBI. The databases we use are REDCap and NDMS. NDMS is the local implementation of Clinisys WorldCare system. The ability to oversee documentation and processes related to these systems will be crucial for effective project management and support of public health initiatives.
