The School provides for the professional preparation of teachers and educators in early childhood, primary, secondary, community, outdoor and higher education.
This position is responsible for the provision of high-level administrative support for the partnership portfolios, including the Nexus program. The role involves initiating, executing and completing various projects and activities that support the implementation of the School of Education's strategic and business plans. This position will offer executive support to the Associate Dean Partnerships, assisting with a range of administrative activities needed to achieve objectives within their portfolio.
The position holder may be required to undertake travel to other La Trobe University campuses.
Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, you will have:
An undergraduate degree in any area relevant to the position with at least 4 years subsequent experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the capacity to work collaboratively and cooperatively in small teams.Demonstrated organisation and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage several different projects concurrently.Demonstrated high level of self-motivation and personal management skills.Proven ability to focus on objectives rather than procedures and precedents.Demonstrated ability to form a detailed knowledge of academic and administrative policies and the interrelationships between a range of policies and activities.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders to achieve stated outcomes.How to apply Closing date: By 11:55pm on Wednesday 27th November 2024.
