About the Business The Office for Ageing Well works to fulfill the government's commitment to support older South Australians live and age well. Through consultation and engagement with diverse older South Australians, and by partnering with government, non-government and community organisations, the Office administers two Acts and delivers a range of initiatives, services and programs, including the Adult Safeguarding Unit, Retirement Villages Unit, Seniors Card Program, ageing policy and Ageing Well Community Grants.
Role Details The Project Officer role is a role within Operational Policy and Community Engagement, Office for Ageing Well, and is accountable to the Principal Policy Officer for:
Contributing to project and policy development through research, data collection, analysis and reporting of information relevant to the needs of clients and to fulfill legislative functions.
Providing a comprehensive range of business and administrative support for the Operational Policy and Community Engagement Unit and the broader Office for Ageing Well.
Assisting in the planning, coordination and implementation of community education, engagement strategies and events related to Office for Ageing Well.
Key outcomes and accountabilities:
Undertake research, compile data, and prepare high quality written documents, including briefings, reports and functional advertising briefs and plans, to a range of stakeholders.
Provide project management support and advice to senior team members, including contributing to the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of projects.
Support Office for Ageing Well business systems, including electronic client management systems, and processes that support operational requirements and meet legislative and contractual requirements.
Contribute to the planning, implementation, and participation in internal and external events and engagements, including community consultations, education and awareness raising activities, and conferences and exhibitions.
Maintain stakeholder and merchandise databases and work with suppliers to maintain stock levels as required, including obtaining quotes and invoices from suppliers, and liaising on design, printing, supply, storage and delivery.
Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure effective consultation and engagement across projects and policy in a sensitive and timely manner.
Note: Any other responsibilities in line with the classification level of the role as assigned by Line Manager and/or the Department. The responsibilities as specified above may be altered in accordance with the changing requirements of the role.
Special Conditions National Police Check required. Training or experience in using the Objective records management system and the Salesforce suite of resources or a similar platform is desirable.

Salary Range: $76,561-$80,256 (ASO4)
