Contract: Contract till 31 July 2025
Essential Qualifications: Appropriate degree in Botanical or Horticultural Science or equivalent is essential.
Special Conditions: May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.Current class "C" driver's licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4wd is essential.May require some intra/interstate travel and some out of hours may be required.Demonstrated ability to work alone and be self-reliant.Will be required to work at all BGSH botanic garden estates.Maintain Senior First Aid Certificate and apply first aid as required.This role has functions pertaining to working with children and is prescribed under the Child Safety (Prohibited Person) Act 2016 as requiring a Working With Children Check (WWCC). By applying for this role you consent to being screened for appropriate behaviour and to the Department obtaining, or requiring you to obtain a WWCC.Remuneration: PO2, $88,255 min - $97,667 max p.a.
