City of Darwin is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join the team as a Project Officer in the Growth & Economic Development Program Area. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects and initiatives that contribute to the city's economic growth and prosperity.
About the Opportunity: This role provides high-level project management and administrative support to the Economic Development team in the Growth and Economic Development program area.
Key responsibilities: Ensure delivery of identified projects and initiatives for Growth and Economic Development, including projects that align with City of Darwin's Economic Development Strategy.Proactively assist and prepare project briefs and tenders for Economic Development projects.Manage and support events across growth and economic development portfolios (e.g. setting up assessment panels, preparing documentation and reporting, coordinating information sessions with stakeholders, managing invoices, brand development).As required, conduct community consultation, including responding to feedback and providing information on the Growth and Development program and projects in conjunction with relevant parties.About you: The ideal applicant will be organised, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing projects and stakeholder relationships, with a thirst for driving economic growth and development in Darwin.
You will have: Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or equivalent qualification and/or experience.Minimum three (3) years' experience in a similar role.To apply: Click apply.
