What you will be doing As the Project Officer within the BreastScreen NSW team you will be required to work collaboratively with internal and external team members to deliver key projects and support key initiatives of the program.
You will be responsible for managing assigned projects from the concept phase to project closure to ensure projects are undertaken effectively, within scheduled timeframes, quality standards and on budget, while achieving agreed targets that support the delivery of the NSW Cancer Plan. 
You will be responsible for several support functions to improve health communications, quality and participation within the program.

A covering letter addressing the Essential Requirements, as outlined in the Role Description A response to the pre-screening Questions, as outlined below.Demonstrated experience in program or project management and the application of project management principles and techniques. Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline such as health, public health or health promotion or equivalent, and relevant professional experience and training. Pre-screening Questions Please respond to the two pre-screening questions below in a separate word document (1-2 pages). In addition please and attach a covering letter along with your resume addressing the essential requirements of the role which are outlined in the role description.
Provide an example of a quality improvement activity you implemented. Explain how the opportunity was identified, how the quality improvement activity was developed and implemented, and how the results were measured.Provide an example of when you managed a range of projects with competing priorities. Describe how you ensured that stakeholder expectations were met and project deliverables were completed on time.
