Job Title: Project Officer – eLearning Workforce Development Team

Role Overview: Uses instructional design principles to develop eLearning content on alcohol and other drugs-related issues. Manages the administration functions of the team's Learning Management System and designs and develops multimedia to support digital learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities;
Provides administrative coordination for Workforce Development's Learning Management System e-learning platform.
In consultation with the Workforce Development Manager and Senior Organisational Consultant eLearning, uses instructional design principles to develop eLearning packages.
Assists in the development of the Workforce Development eLearning in accordance with the Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drug Workforce Strategic Framework, Government and the client's priorities.
In consultation with supervisor, investigates and analyses planning and policy issues associated with project.
Liaises with internal and external stakeholders, including Subject Matter Experts, on the development new eLearning content adaptation of existing training into eLearning and review of Workforce Development eLearning packages.
Develops communication and promotional resources on programs and services.
Assists with the documentation for approval, publication and promotion of eLearning packages.
Manages risk in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and frameworks, including Copyright, Legal Deposit, and Intellectual Property. This includes identifying and monitoring issues and mitigating against potential risks as required.
Ensures that policies, frameworks and protocols are implemented and complied with and are in accordance with government policy and compliance requirements.
Represents Workforce Development on relevant committees and working parties when required.
Establishes and maintains appropriate communication and working relationships with relevant government and non-government agencies, consumers, carers, consumer groups and other stakeholders to ensure services meet established targets.
Prepares briefings, reports and correspondence as required.
Manages projects as required.
Undertakes other duties as required.
Participates in Workforce Development team meetings, supervision and other meetings within the client as directed.
Participates in the client's Performance Development Program.
Keeps records according to the State Records Act and the client's Record Keeping Policies and Procedures.
Essential to be successful in this role;
Experience using Moodle Learning Management System to administer eLearning packages.
Ability to create and edit multimedia including media editing skills (sound, video, and still image).
Understanding of alcohol and other drug-related issues, including the impact of stigma.
Current valid NPC or ability to obtain one
Experience in project/program planning, management and implementation or other relevant area, including the ability to provide advice and support to relevant stakeholders.
Ability to use Articulate 360 eLearning content development software and experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning instructional design
Well-developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to liaise and consult with a range of stakeholders in various contexts.
Well-developed conceptual, analytical, research and evaluation skills with the ability to provide solutions to problems and issues.
Well-developed organisational skills together with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines and timeframes.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to the achievement of team goals and objectives.
