Location: Coffs Harbour with WFH flexibility Duration: ASAP start date - 29/03/2025 Pay Rate: $65/hour + super Working Hours: 7 hours/day, 35 hours/week Our State Government Client is currently seeking a Project Officer who is passionate about making a difference to join their Coffs Harbour team in providing Housing Services to the community.
Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver a 12-month calendar of events across the region to meet the target of 80 home ownership opportunities annually.
Innovate engagement with stakeholders, incorporating technology where appropriate, and support Aboriginal home buyers with guidance and education.
Administer the Home Buyer Saver grants program with a high level of probity.
Provide accurate and up-to-date data and analysis for the Home Ownership Program, including finalizing dashboards and maintaining core data sets.
Prepare a range of project-related documents, such as reports, budgets, status updates, and discussion papers for key stakeholders.
Support projects as directed, working alongside Senior Regional Project Officers and assisting the broader program.
Collaborate with community partners to deliver outcomes in line with the Closing the Gap initiative.
Actively manage stakeholder relationships through open communication and regular feedback to ensure smooth program implementation.
The Ideal Candidate: Works autonomously with a high level of independence.
Provides expert advice and recommendations, even under pressure or incomplete information.
Ensures decisions and actions align with government policies, maintaining quality control.
Engages with internal and external stakeholders, including at Ministerial levels.
Manages high-risk or sensitive projects with sound judgment.
