About the team – The AIS Performance Group leads the design and delivery of innovative evidence-based systems, programs, services, and support that unites and enables the high-performance system to support athletes to Win Well.
About the role – This role will support the Performance Systems and Paralympic Partnerships Branch by providing administrative and logistical support across various projects, programs, and initiatives.
The Project Officer will work closely with the Director of Performance Systems and Paralympic Partnerships, as well as the associated leadership roles, to ensure efficient operation and successful delivery of high-performance sport initiatives.
This role will also serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the branch.
About you –  Experience providing senior level administrative support to diverse teams, ideally within a government setting Experience with administrative processes such as budgeting, procurement and grants Experience in project and/or program management and delivery  High level written and verbal communication skills High level technology/ICT skills Experience managing communications with and to a diverse range of stakeholders  Experience with task prioritisation, working under pressure and meeting deadlines Experience working in high performance sport (desirable)  Experience in a learning and development environment (desirable)  This position is offered as a  FIXED TERM position until 30 June 2026 with the possibility of being extended or made ongoing.
