About the Victorian School Building AuthorityThe Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) is part of the Department of Education. Established in 2016, it oversees Victoria's largest school building program since the state introduced free public education in the 1870s. The VSBA upgrades and expands existing schools and plans, designs, and builds new schools to meet enrolment demand.
About the RoleThis is a full-time fixed-term role for 2 years.
The School Cleaning Unit, part of the Facilities Branch, oversees the implementation and management of an area-based cleaning model for Melbourne metropolitan schools, along with a strengthened compliance and monitoring framework for regional schools.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Coordinate data entry from onsite audits, service provider reports, emails, and phone calls to maintain accurate records and facilitate analysis and reporting.Contribute to delivering high-quality services to ensure the effective implementation of processes and procedures.Assist in developing written communications, including guidance documents, responding to Ministerial requests, and directly addressing queries from schools and service providers.Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including other business functions within the department, schools, and service providers.Ensure timely management and coordination of responses to stakeholder inquiries.Provide administration and support to the business unit as required.AttributesThe Project Officer works collaboratively and is a team player who supports the program's delivery.
