Undertake project management, research analysis, and implementation activities to engage with Tasmanian Aboriginal community organisations, members and individuals, with a focus primarily on matters relevant to the Closing the Gap priority reform areas and targets.• Work across Tasmanian State Government agencies to assist agency staff to strengthen relationships with Aboriginal community members and organisations.• Contribute to the development and realisation of the Tasmanian Closing the Gap Jurisdictional Implementation Plan.

DutiesWork collaboratively with the Aboriginal Partnerships team to develop, in partnership with the Aboriginal community organisations and individuals, the Tasmanian Closing the Gap Jurisdictional Implementation Plan.Work across Tasmanian State Government agencies to assist in the building of stronger relationships with Aboriginal community organisations.Coordinate and manage the resources required for designated projects and initiatives related to the implementation of the Closing the Gap agenda.Manage grant programs including coordinating assessment processes, preparing grant documentation and managing grants.Research and analyse specific policy and project issues and contribute to solutions, proposals and recommendations that align with the Government's strategic priorities.Liaise and consult with stakeholders and officers from within DPAC and other spheres of government (Commonwealth, State, and Local).Prepare correspondence, reports and briefing notes, including Ministerial and Cabinet documentation, and supporting material.The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.Aboriginality.
