Under the broad direction of the Chief Executive, the Project Officer will work within Hospitals and Primary Care to deliver high level project support; draft documentation and implement projects aligned with the Directorate's strategic policy agenda; and provide guidance to the Relevant Manager and other team members as required.
Lead the planning, implementation, and delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and active engagement with key internal and external stakeholders.Coordinate activities to ensure adherence to policies, legislation, and business functions, while managing risks, resolving issues, and supporting meetings and negotiations.Provide strategic advice on complex issues, develop practical solutions, and prepare high-quality correspondence, reports, and project documentation for senior management and stakeholders.You will need: Demonstrated experience and expertise in project management and delivery, together with organisational skills and the ability to plan, coordinate, and be responsible for several concurrent project activities while working in an environment subject to strict timeframes and organisational change.High-level strategic, conceptual, analytical, and creative skills, including the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with diverse backgrounds.Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and oral communication skills, including the ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders and effectively communicate and resolve complex issues.Ability to produce high-quality documentation in various communication formats for a range of target audiences, including demonstrated presentation skills.Proven capacity to effectively model agile, flexible, and innovative work practices to influence and manage stakeholder expectations.Proven ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team, to foster a productive work ethic and positive workplace culture.Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.
Details of appointment: Multiple fixed term full time, day worker positions as below, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing ASAP until 30 June 2026.
