The Opportunity: This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to one of Queensland's most iconic initiatives—the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. As a Project Officer within the Authority, you will provide essential project and administrative support to the Major Venues team. Your work will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless planning, coordination, and delivery of infrastructure projects outlined in the Brisbane 2032 Master Plan. By collaborating with various stakeholders, you will support the successful delivery of major venues, contributing to the legacy of the Games and shaping Queensland's future.

Key Responsibilities: Provide active contribution to the administration of complex government infrastructure projects, including working with program and project teams, consultants and/or multi-disciplinary teams to ensure risks are effectively managed and key program project milestones are achieved;Coordinate office administration activities and systems including supporting the Director and team with the triaging of incoming correspondence including emails and ensuring documentation is stored and maintained accurately within the records management systems;Establish and maintain effective networks with internal and external stakeholders including across three tiers of government, peak industry and sporting bodies and business associations;Contribute to, and coordinate program and project reporting, briefings, submissions, and other correspondence in line with governance frameworks, ensuring the integrity of sensitive documentation and information;Undertake research and analysis on a range of topics to support key functional areas in developing solutions, proposals, and recommendation;Provide secretariat support across all governance bodies levels (including project control groups and working groups, committees, forums, events, roundtables), and high-level meetings as required, (including managing meeting logistics, agendas, detailed minutes and action items); andCoordinate ministerial and departmental correspondence, ensuring responses are prepared, reviewed, and endorsed in accordance with timelines.Required Experience: Experience working within a project environment including the coordination of documentation and correspondence, reporting, risk management and procurement activities;Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle complex tasks effectively;Exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated success in high-accuracy roles;The ability to build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leaders; andFlexibility to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.Benefits: Join the Games Independent Infrastructure and Coordination Authority team and be part of an iconic project that will shape Queensland's future:
