Davidson are partnering with our Queensland client, in the recourse sector, who are seeking a Project Officer to assist building and maintaining their Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO).
12-month contract, Hybrid work model.
The Role As an experienced Project Officer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the project management capability and operational success of a the EPMO and provide administrative expertise and support to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinating project planning by collating data into a cohesive Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
Developing and maintaining project schedules while ensuring their accuracy and alignment with objectives.
Monitoring and analysing project performance against baselines, identifying trends and variances.
Preparing highlight reports and performance updates for supervisory review.
Collaborating with the Program Controller to support program meetings, maintain minutes, and track action items to drive project success.
About You You will be a detail-oriented and proactive Project Officer, with a knack for project coordination and scheduling.
You will thrive in a collaborative team environment and have the ability to balance strategic priorities with tactical execution.
You will also have: Sound knowledge of Earned Value Methods: Planned Value; Earned Value; Cost Performance Indicators & Schedule Performance Indicators.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and project management tools such as MS Project and Planner.
Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK) and scheduling techniques.
Understanding of risk models, including RAID logs and Monte Carlo simulations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships.
