The branch works with Commonwealth, state, and territory government agencies and industry to implement innovative methods to prevent identity crime and support victims, help Australians access the digital economy and digital IDs, and improve how identity is verified.In particular, the work of the branch includes:This role will work within the Identity Verification Services (IVS) Operations and Delivery Section and supports the effective delivery of three identity and biometric capabilities - the Document Verification Service (DVS), the Face Verification Service (FVS), and the National Driver Licence Facial Recognition Solution (NDLFRS).The branch is a safe and inclusive working environment, and is focused on wellbeing and staff development.How you can help us make a differenceWe are seeking energetic and fast-learning officers who are looking to work with diverse stakeholders to deliver projects to improve the capability of the identity verification services.As an APS6 - Project Officer, your responsibilities include:Qualifications in project management or a background working on biometrics in the law enforcement or the intelligence community would be highly regarded.
