Salary from $96,626 to $102,676 per annum, plus superannuationGreat benefits working in one of the fastest growing local CouncilsThe Role The City's Infrastructure Capital Works team focuses on the design and construction of the City's capital infrastructure projects in accordance with our Capital Works Program.
As a Project Officer in the Program Management team, you will contribute to the delivery of all capital works projects within the City's Capital Works Program through the application of project management principles.
The City is seeking an experienced Project Officer.
The successful appointee will be responsible for:
Preparation of project related documentation in a timely manner in accordance with the City's Project Management Framework.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.Delivery of ad hoc projects as requested.Provide Project Managers with support to cover leave and/or increased workload demands.Supporting the forward planning and delivery of Capital Works Projects.Effective communication with our Project Managers, customers, as well as internal and external stakeholders.Skills and Experience About you To be successful in the position, you will have knowledge of project management principles and practices, as well as industry construction practices, codes and legislation.
As a member of a high performing team, you will be adaptable and ready to take on a challenge for project delivery.
Through your resume and cover letter you will be able to demonstrate the following capabilities:
