WTOAC has another Project Officer role available.The Project Officer – Corporate Services position provides support in the Corporation's funding and consultancy agreement obligations, reporting requirements, grant applications, as well as supporting special projects under the Corporate Services banner.About UsWTOAC is a Registered Aboriginal Party (RAP) under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 (Vic) and was established in 1998. WTOAC is governed by a Board of Directors of Traditional Owners. Each Director represents a Family Group of the Wadawurrung People. Its role is to protect and advance the aspirations of Wadawurrung People by managing their cultural heritage rights and interests, as well as supporting them in the achievement of the goals and aspirations as outlined in the Wadawurrung Country Plan.Key AccountabilitiesAnalyse and assess project information against program guidelines and procedural documentationDraft and negotiate routine funding agreementsPrepare briefs, correspondence and reportsManage contractual relationships with proponents to ensure complianceAssess and action variation requests, project progress and completion reportsPrepare payment recommendations and keep appropriate recordsMaintain program and project recordsIdentify project risks and mitigation strategiesWork with team leaders to resolve complex issues and find innovative solutions.The Successful Candidate Will HavePrevious experience in, or exposure to/understanding of, grants and/or funding programs will be highly regarded.Experience in providing administrative and project support in a team environment.Experience in writing and editing reports and other materials and preparing well-designed external communications.Demonstrated knowledge in financial reporting processes.Your ability to build relationships with stakeholders to gather information, identify opportunities to improve performance, capability, and funding outcomes.Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Financial management skills and experience in developing program budgets.How To ApplyPlease apply via seek with a resume and cover letter outlining your suitability for the role by 30th September 2024, 10.00am.A Position Description and more information can be obtained by emailing is an Aboriginal Corporation and Wadawurrung, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionProject ManagementIndustriesCivic and Social Organizations#J-18808-Ljbffr
