Project Officer - CAMHS Psychology Student Led Clinic

MHJHADS aims to be socially inclusive and operate within a recovery-focused and/or harm minimisation approach.
The Office of the Director of Allied Health provides strategic leadership and governance in the development of professional practice of allied health staff in MHJHADS.
The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Community Teams Student-Led Clinic, Project Officer role is a new position created to establish the framework for a student-led clinic within CAMHS to enhance placement options for provisional psychologists within CHS.
This is an initiative supported by the Psychology Discipline in the Faculty of Health at the University of Canberra and funded through a Commonwealth grant from the "Mental Health Program Addressing Critical Psychology Shortages – Postgraduate Psychology Incentive Program."
The project period is for 3-6 months, with the aim of developing and establishing the required operational guidelines, processes and resources to manage a clinical psychology student-led clinic for CAMHS Community Teams that delivers best practice care and high-quality student education.
Please note prior to commencement successful candidates will be required to: Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.Note: This is a temporary part-time position at (14:70) hours per week for a period of six months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months.
