Want to get involved? Are you passionate about preventing sudden cardiac arrest and saving lives? Join the Heart Foundation and support the Australian Sudden Cardiac Arrest Alliance (AUSCAA) in a pivotal new role supporting the Steering Committee and shaping the future of the Alliance.
In this role you will play a key part in establishing a strong governance framework, supporting working groups, and driving strategic initiatives aimed at preventing sudden cardiac death.
Responsibilities Provide critical support to the Steering Committee in setting up the Alliance's governance system. Lead document reviews, scoping exercises, and the establishment of working groups. Assist in the creation and dissemination of governance structures and ensure progress tracking of ongoing projects. Coordinate communication, meetings, and reports with government representatives, stakeholders, and the public. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference.
Let's talk about you To be successful in this role you will have:
Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant work experience in health-related field. Strong knowledge of the health and medical research landscape in NSW and Australia, including funding schemes and networks. Experience as an Executive Officer and/or in project management. Proven ability to develop strategies and new initiatives. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Skilled in managing priorities, deadlines, and multitasking effectively. Clear, analytical thinker with a strong grasp of scientific information. Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences, including government, research, donors, and staff. Strong collaboration, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Exceptional interpersonal and service-oriented approach. Ready to apply?
