Remuneration: 73551.21 - 75219.36 full time equivalent base salary range (excludes super, leave loading and salary packaging)

Supports and provides administrative assistance to;Heads, CPU and Advisors, NSS and their programs. Services are provided in communication and customer service, office management, travel, training, conferences and specific functions related to the CPU and NSS programs.
The Project Officer and Administrative Assistant will ensure office management systems are in place to for effective and efficient delivery of the service keeping track of any matters with deadlines/closing dates, organise and prioritise workflow for timely completion.
Assistance will be provided in the preparation of communications as required by the two programs and this position will establish and maintain open communication strategies to ensure key stakeholders have accurate and necessary information.
This role will provide support with functions of recruitment and finances as well as management of the electronic record keeping system (TRIM) and supervision of other administration staff within the CPU. Demonstrated success in delivering high level support services to Executive staff. Demonstrated exceptional office management and organisational skills. Highly developed communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to interact with people at all levels within the organisation. Demonstrated ability to show initiative and use sound judgment and work collaboratively and as part of a team as well as independently. Demonstrated ability to manage a workload, prioritise tasks and maintain accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated initiative and problem solving ability.
