Southern Adelaide Local Health Network – Noarlunga - Aboriginal Health Salary $84,522- $94,003 p.a. (pro rata) ASO5 | Full Time – Contract available until May 2027! We are looking for an Aboriginal Health Project Officer to join the team and help make a difference in Southern Adelaide's local community! About the Role: As the Aboriginal Health Project Officer, you will be required to undertake a range of tasks in an efficient and effective manner with the ability to implement and monitor a range of Aboriginal health projects and programs, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy across the work required.
In this role, you will provide support for business management and service improvement projects to support the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network's (SALHN) Aboriginal Health. Work at this level is undertaken by employees with highly developed project and data management, analytical and written communication skills.
Please note:  This is an identified Aboriginal Health role. In accordance with Section 52 (2) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (SA), applicants for this position must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
About you: Proven experience with scoping, planning, implementing, managing and evaluating projects within allocated budgets.  Experience with the use and application of the Microsoft Office Suite of programs including: MS Word and MS Excel. Experience in a mentoring, supporting or advocacy role. Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide analytical commentaries and consultancy services to staff at all levels. Demonstrated negotiation and consultation skills with proven ability to engage and develop effective partnerships with a range of stakeholders.  Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
