Duties Identify emerging sport and recreation issues and trends and identify, initiate and manage planned responses and strategies. Coordinate, monitor and evaluate projects and formulate appropriate recommendations for consideration by Active Tasmania management. Provide advice to support the development of sport and recreation through regular contact with national, state and local networks. Provide high-level client management services to contribute to, support and build the capacity of the sport and recreation sector. Liaise with other Active Tasmania and Culture, Arts, and Sport teams to ensure that appropriate policies, programs, and services are addressing Tasmanian sport and recreation needs. Prepare high-level briefing notes, correspondence, documentation and ministerial responses on sport and recreation issues as required. Represent the Department in a range of relevant forums. Undertake other duties as required by the Project Manager - Development.
