Description: Overview of role:
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of projects that support the goals of the Assets & Operations Group. You'll ensure these projects meet budget, time, and quality standards set by the Investment Review Committee, Project Management Office, and relevant legislation, including the Work Health & Safety Act. This role also involves engaging stakeholders, managing risks, and leading by example to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver assigned projects to specification, on time, and within budgetConduct project evaluations, feasibility studies, and investigationsPrepare comprehensive project documentation that meets required standardsManage resources efficiently and effectively, ensuring milestones are metEngage stakeholders and manage their expectations throughout project deliveryIdentify and manage project risks and implement business improvementsEnsure compliance with all statutory obligations and promote a safe workplaceCollaborate with internal teams and external consultants, contractors, and suppliersQualifications and Experience: A tertiary degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or a trade qualification with substantial experience in project or site managementEligible for membership in the Institute of Engineers Australia or Australian Institute of Project ManagementProven project management skills with a strong record of delivering on time, within budget, and to specificationExcellent negotiation, communication, and influencing skillsKnowledge of WH&S legislation and project management methodologiesSalary:
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 4, $93,548 - $112,895 plus superannuation salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
