Project Manager - Underground Utility

Sydney Head Office role for an experienced Project Manager working with T1 Clients on underground utility projects in HV Electrical - Great Company!
Project ManagerThe Company: A national civil contractor with major projects, working with Tier 1 Clients, specialising in underground utility projects.
They are a civil contractor - they have no electricians, but the majority of their work is laying cable and conduits underground for HV Electrical projects.
The Role:Delivery of the project on time and under budget.Work extensively with the Principal Contractor as required.Organise, plan and manage direct site labour and ensure effective workforce planning.Monitor changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and measuring, valuing and negotiating variations to designs in consultation with the Commercial team.Management of subcontractors in strict compliance with agreements.Track and produce accurate cost tracking data including holding weekly project reviews.The Person:Tertiary Qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering is preferred.Demonstrated Project Management experience in a similar role with Underground projects.Demonstrated experience in managing a team as well as managing subcontractors.Commercial Acumen.Are you interested in roles like this?
