Job Description:
As an experienced Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and delivering complex mining technology projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a strong background in Agile methodologies and a proven track record in technology/IT project management within the mining industry.
There are multiple roles, so candidates with Operational Technology, Infrastructure/Systems, ERP/Applications are invited to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage technology projects from initiation to closure, ensuring all project objectives are met.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance.
Implement Agile methodologies to enhance project delivery and team performance.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Communicate project status, updates, and changes to stakeholders and senior management.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project team.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Previous successful delivery of technology projects within the mining industry.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong knowledge and experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
