Applications are being managed by Steph Haines at Robert Walters Recruitment - ****** The role manages and coordinates technology based projects for the Technology & Innovation (T&I) business unit. Working across the company and with external partners, the role is responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget and at the agreed quality. The role will manage specific projects as directed in accordance with AAL's Project Management Framework. Project Management PLANNING  Define the success metrics and criteria in partnership with the project sponsor and other relevant stakeholders;  Develop project resourcing strategies to ensure optimum support for projects and associated day-to-day operational activities;  Budget, cost estimation, and internal resource allocation;  Identify and create project plans for project, portfolio, and product prioritisation and implementation;   Define the principles and standards that harmonise project management methodologies of third parties and external service providers;  Evaluate the trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value;  DELIVERY  Ensure the project adheres to AAL project methodology standards and reporting requirements;  Assesses, prioritises and addresses project risks as they are encountered;  Deliver the project within time, budget and resource constraints;  Continually update relevant stakeholders regarding the project's status;  Facilitate all operational checkpoint activities through the project's lifecycle;  Ensure the project meets business case success parameters;  Drive program and project governance (including reporting, management of RAID, change and working groups).   Interface with governance groups, vendors, and other internal stakeholders;  Providing regular project status updates to relevant stakeholders;  Team  Drive strong engagement with stakeholders;  Develop high-performing cross-functional teams and achieve a collaborative partnership culture that encourages accountability;  Assist in raising the awareness of delivery and change processes. Willingness and ability to multi-skill throughout varied job activities;  Be passionate about making a difference by helping to improve delivery practices and mindsets and championing governance and delivery models to achieve delivery excellence;  Maintain a professional image and build an understanding of AAL's organisation, products, services, policies and procedures.  Contribute to a collaborative, can-do team mindset that positively contributes to the technology & Innovation team's culture.  Embed Customer Service in attitudes and actions;  Contribute to a safe, healthy and discrimination free workplace;  Comply with the WHS Responsibility Guidelines;  Comply with the Environmental Responsibility Procedure  Live the AAL Values  A Be ACCOUNTABLE and AUTHENTIC    I Conduct ourselves with INTEGRITY  R Be RESPONSIVE, efficient and RESPECTFUL   P Take PRIDE in our achievements   O Be OPEN and friendly and encourage diversity   R Build RELATIONSHIPS based on trust   T Foster great TEAMS Qualifications Required  Essential  PMP/PMI certified.  Desirable  Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, business or a related discipline Experience  Essential  Hands-on experience in project resource planning, reporting, prioritisation, and budgeting;  Experience leading projects within and outside IT, as well as projects that have involved external providers;  At least 5 years of relevant project management experience;  IT financial management and organisational change management processes competence;  Desirable   Information Technology expertise;  Airport specific technology (aeronautical and/or Landside) knowledge;  Working within complex teams and across business units;  Working knowledge of IT risk management, IT standards and policies formulation;  Understanding of software development lifecycles (e.g. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, Iterative);  PMO experience;  Delivering projects with a strong business / commercial focus;  Team building expertise;  IT governance development and implementation
