Our determination to deliver and improve today and anticipate and shape tomorrow makes QinetiQ a very exciting, rewarding and respected place to work and learn.We are now looking for a Project Manager (T&E) to join our Advisory business (explosive material branch) in Canberra, Melbourne or Adelaide. This role requires a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who possesses strong project management skills and principles with experience in test and evaluation in an explosives ordnance test environment. You will also have the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams while maintaining effective and timely business processes.As the Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:Manage numerous engineering projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, i.e. customer needs elicitation, project requirements development, design, manufacturing, testing and verification, and T&E equipment required.Overall management of T&E equipment including procurement, delivery, sustainment, and disposal.Manage projects in accordance with the applicable Project Management framework, Technical Management System (TMS), and Quality Management System requirements.Ongoing engagement with internal and external stakeholders.Developing project schedules, budgets, and quotes for various sized projects, and managing those projects through to completion.Tracking and updating projects, including the status of budget, schedule, and scope.Liaising with procurement to arrange purchases of equipment and materials in accordance with procurement processes.The ability to engage with the end user and other stakeholders to develop solutions for systems used to capture data used in T&E and conduct EO test activities.To be successful in the role you will require:Vocational qualification (Diploma) in Project Management (preferable) supported by relevant project management experience delivering projects within a complex environment; orBachelor's Degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline supported by relevant project management experience within a complex environment such as explosive ordnance.Ability to work independently from supervisors.Strong stakeholder management experience (preferably within an explosives ordnance environment).Due to the nature of the role, applicants must also be eligible for Australian Defence security clearance.Whilst applications must be made online, confidential enquiries are welcome and may be directed to Roz Byrne (Talent Acquisition Lead) via email: ****** for an Employer with Benefits?At QinetiQ, our competitive remuneration and benefits package supports your evolving needs throughout your career.
