Hammond & Neale have a long history of working with Private and Public Schools, Universities, Child Care Facilities, as well as Sporting Clubs and other Community projects.Hammond & Neale are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate Client Side Project Manager with a focus on superintending construction projects to join our Brisbane team.The RoleOur firm is looking for an experienced individual with a passion for project management and experience in managing construction contracts as superintendent.You will be working on a variety of challenging and diverse projects ranging from minor works up to $50m in value. As an active member of the project team you will be responsible for:Leading the project team and ensuring that they are aligned with the project vision, objectives and deliverables.Independently administering the contract ensuring conditions of the contract are clearly understood and met by all parties.Assessing and determining outcomes associated with relevant contractual claims, disputes or adjustments.Facilitating the resolution of risks and issues.Communicating with key stakeholders and driving project outcomes.Briefing the team, ensuring the team is clear on their roles and expectations.Managing project delivery to ensure that the project is delivered to program, budget and quality expectations.Communicating regularly with a wide range of audiences such as internal and external stakeholders in a clear and confident manner, including leading project team meetings where required.Key CriteriaTo be considered for the role applicants would need to demonstrate the following qualifications, experience and skills:Able to contribute to the fun, dynamic and creative team culture we pride ourselves on at Hammond & Neale.Capable of showing initiative, strength in teamwork and a proactive approach to problem solving.A minimum of 7+ years' experience as a Project Manager with Superintendent experience.A history managing or demonstrating a personal passion for projects in the Education, Community or similar project environments will be highly regarded but isn't essential.The ability to build and maintain long term client relationships.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.An understanding of projects ranging from minor works and refurbishments to new construction.A thorough understanding of contract administration principles, construction processes, relevant codes, safety regulations, risk management and contract law.A thorough knowledge of AS suite of contacts, primarily AS4300, AS2124.The type of person you are really matters to our team, and to our Clients.
