Build your career at Iress! You will be responsible for supporting the accelerated and confident take-on of new clients and supporting existing clients to solve problems or opportunities. Provide leadership, direction, and prioritisation within a project team(s) from initiation through to delivery, managing teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, meeting productivity and profitability targets. Work with our leadership team to create high performing teams and ensure our people are appropriately skilled, trained, developed and managed. Represent Iress with clients and internally in relation to project deliveries.
Some of the awesome things you'll be involved with: Manage and deliver key client projects including new implementations, new features and key product uplifts. Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, meeting productivity and profitability targets. Support Project Leads in making the right prioritisation decisions in order to ensure the work is delivered effectively, priorities are clearly defined, and that there's a shared understanding of outcomes and success measures. Work with the Commercial team to ensure effective management of commercial matters and to build effective relationships with external clients at multiple levels to ensure effective delivery whilst also acting as an escalation point so issues can be resolved. Ensure effective engagement and communication with clients in relation to project delivery. Drive a high performance culture within teams and create and maintain a culture of service excellence and client focus. Responsible for ensuring delivery plans are in place, agreed across all relevant Iress teams and work is delivered in accordance to the agreed delivery plans. Develop our people to be domain/business experts in supporting complex clients across the range of potential Iress solutions so they are seen as trusted SMEs by clients and colleagues. Ensure that solutions recommended are aligned to Iress and client commercial and business imperatives resulting in clients viewing Iress as a strategic partner. Oversee and assume responsibility for job estimation and solution design within your functional area. Ensure solution designs are reviewed and approved prior to agreement with a client(s). Jointly responsible for the profitability of the Superannuation Business Unit. Ensure billable utilisation is at the budgeted level. Ensure project retrospectives and post implementation reviews are conducted as agreed. Build effective relationships internally in order to facilitate smooth working and delivery. What you will bring: 8+ years' experience leading a team to deliver results, preferably gained in a wealth management/superannuation or software solutions environment with experience managing implementation projects. Knowledge of relevant client markets/segments and commercial priorities - i.e. to understand the key technical and business drivers of customers. Ability to actively manage the team, provide direction, and communicate priorities/action plans. A professional manner, being accessible to clients and providing timely and succinct information. Experience of delivering financial technology solutions into large corporate clients. A knowledge of the theories and methodologies involved in project management. Knowledge of Acurity and practical experience with other superannuation technology systems. Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC). Knowledge of the Superannuation industry including knowledge of the majority of processes within the superannuation industry including superannuation administration. Proven ability to meet revenue and profit targets. Proven track record in managing and building a team of consultants. Effective workload and resource management. Strong multi-tasking, planning and time management skills to prioritise and meet deadlines across multiple projects. Highly motivated and performance driven. Keen to make an impact. Demonstrate personal credibility and flexibility. Robust and able to stand own ground, able to deliver difficult news to senior management, willing to challenge the viability of a business case. Ability to promote a team culture and display company values. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams. Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
