The Project Manager, Solutions, will be a part of the Sports Venue and Live Entertainment vertical market team at Ross - in its initiative to increase sales of Ross Video technology in these market spaces. This key role in the Sales organisation requires a unique blend of pre-sales engineering/solutions architecture, customer facing "soft skills", and post-sale project management ability. This is a diverse role that reports directly to the General Manager, Oceania with Indirect Reporting to the Manager, Project Management and Solutions Services, Sports & Live Events - Global as well as frequent interaction with the company's prospects, partners, Services, Sales and Technical Support teams to ensure that solutions specified can also be supported.
This role can be based in Australia or Singapore.

What the job is all about: Participates and contributes to sales opportunities driven by the Vice President of Sports & Live Events and APAC Regional Sales Managers, prioritising efforts based on maximizing total impact on the team's productivity.Pre- and post-sale project management/deployment for systems oriented and highly technical projects, including:Establishing and maintaining processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.Understanding clients' main goals, finding the problem/solution for each project, managing timelines, managing client expectations, and interpreting their needs to work towards a successful outcome.Developing and maintaining partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and integrators.Assigning and monitoring resources to ensure project efficiency and maximise deliverables.Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.Scopes technical solutions to address customer requirements, assess customers met and unmet needs, and recommend solutions that optimise value for both the customer and Ross Video.Coordinates closely with Ross' internal Sales team and business partners to align solutions designed to meet customers' business requirements.Generates localised sales tools on various mediums for internal and external distribution (PowerPoint's, Application Notes, Competitive Guides, etc.).Engages in customer-facing product presentations, demos, training, and workflow guidance to end-users and business partners at customer premises or tradeshows.Ensures the Sales and Marketing of product line follows the Ross Video Code of Ethics.Help to prepare world-class customer-facing proposal supplements.Acts as a "Technical Evangelist" to help build trust and inspiration with our partners and customers.Assists the Services team with internal/external training and commissioning, as required.Provides client feedback to Marketing Product Manager(s) on product & application requirements.Performs other related duties, as required.Who you are: Four (4) year degree from an accredited institution.Minimum 5 years of combined sales, sales engineering, systems application, product specialist, or end user experience.Understanding of the Sports Venue Production Control Room, Live Venue Display, and Sports Broadcast workflows.Record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a customer-facing environment.Possess strong knowledge of industry standard protocols, connectors and terminations.Technical and operational knowledge of Graphics systems, Sports Data feeds, Playback Servers, Production Switchers, Scalers, Routers, Device Control protocols, and the roles they play in various applications.Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheets, and similar PM tools.Existing knowledge and use of Ross Video products (preferred).PMP or other project management certification (preferred).What Makes You a Great Fit: Passionate about Ross Video equipment solutions.Strong communication and presentation skills.Creative and determined problem solver.Deadline-driven with excellent organizational skills.Skilled in multitasking and project scheduling.Able to work independently with attention to detail.Strong work ethic and ability to thrive under pressure.Commitment to contributing to a positive team environment.Verbal communication skills in Japanese language skill is beneficial, but not essential.Other: Willing to travel up to 60% within APAC, including key events like NAB, IBC, and SVG Summit.Valid passport and driver's license with clean driving record.Participate in sales meetings as needed.Equity, Diversity & Inclusion
