The projects will vary in size and value, and will encompass major commercial and mixed-use developments, office fitouts, hotels, high-rise residential projects, luxury accommodation education industry projects, industrial and retail developments, and more.Permanent opportunity with an industry leaderGreat team environmentOpportunity for career growthVery successful company with an excellent reputation within the industryAbout the roleAn exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to join an industry leader.DutiesIdentify and generate a pipeline of immediate project opportunities within a portfolio of global maintenance contracts.Engage with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and offer expert advice on project feasibility.Collaborate with developers, designers, and subcontractors to define the scope of work and ensure alignment with project objectives and desired outcomes.Assist in preparing tenders for customers, analysing subcontractor returns, and managing tender processes.Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate statutory and commercial risks throughout the project's lifecycle.Ensure adherence to WHS and Quality standards in all project phases.Oversee the operational aspects of projects, managing the end-to-end process, from estimating and business development to subcontractor procurement and site management.Provide timely progress reports to the Head of Projects or Business Unit Director, highlighting project status, milestones, and financial performance.Take full responsibility for project P&L, ensuring financial targets are met.Analyse financial performance and implement corrective actions.Build long-term relationships with stakeholders as a trusted advisor.Skills and ExperienceMinimum of 5 years proven Project Management experience in commercial construction, fit-out or critical environment.Previous extensive experience in a leadership positionExtensive experience in asset planning, management and reportingPrior experience in the following: asset maintenance, asset planning, life cycle cost/planning, Labour resource planning, material equipment planningStrong commitment to safety and striving for continuous improvement across the businessRequiredRelevant industry qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in the construction industry, particularly in the above sectors/industries - accommodation, commercial, fitout experience.Comprehensive knowledge of construction procedures and project management principles.Extensive background in managing budgets for large-scale construction projects.Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and Word.Advanced understanding of risk management policies and procedures.Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver complex projects valued over $100 million from inception to completion.Full Australian Working Rights.If you're keen to embark on a new venture and want to join an industry leader then click APPLY or contact Meg on 0406 528 047 for a confidential discussion.How do your skills match this job?How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.To help fast track investigation, please include here any other relevant details that prompted you to report this job ad as fraudulent / misleading / discriminatory.
