Job Description Project manager to oversee construction works on-site to include managing stakeholders, schedule, risk, safety, quality, communications etc.
Support lead project manager in other project deliverables.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants and other key stakeholders of the project Lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion Managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
Managing project safety and environmental requirements Managing project timelines, risks and reporting Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track Chairing project/site meetings with clients, consultants and contractors Being engaged with marketing and business development initiatives Co-ordinating vendor scope with overall project delivery.
Qualifications A minimum of 5-10 years project management experience, preferably gained within the hi-tech/data centres environment mentioned above.
Professionally qualified in one of the following fields: construction, project management, engineering, or architecture.
Has obtained chartered status or on path to achieving this.
A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project review.
Excellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
Design, management or construction experience gained within the general construction environment.
