Period of Appointment24 Months
Hours per fortnightUp to 73.5 hours - flexible options available. 


DutiesEstablish the Launceston Flood Recovery Planning Advisory Committee to focus on recovery planning across all four recovery domains (social, economic, infrastructure and environment), and provide ongoing executive support for this committee.

Lead and manage all aspects of the Launceston City Flood Recovery Planning Project.

Build and maintain positive consultative relationships with stakeholders and partners to ensure the delivery of agreed project outcomes.

Undertake the development of project plans, work schedules and other related documentation in accordance with contemporary best practice.

Manage and monitor project activity, timing, and progress. Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and strategies, and provide project status and other reports as required.

Direct and supervise staff and consultants as required.

Manage scoping, procurement and contracting of professional services from external consultants and contractors in accordance with appropriate frameworks.
