Schwarz Excavations are seeking a Project Manager to join our team.
As the Project Manager, you will cover a wide scope of sectors in end-to-end project delivery.
Based in Gracemere QLD, the Project Manager will comply with Queensland Rail's code of conduct and observe all legal and safety obligations of the organisation.
About the Role:
The primary accountability of the Civil Project Manager – Rail is as follows: Pre-Contract Duties including Tendering & Other related duties Contract Management and Negotiation Specific Project Management Cost Control & Commercial Management Technical and Engineering Management Revenue & Margin Forecasting Production Planning, Monitoring & Management Project Procurement Project WHS Management Project Recruitment & Human Resources Management Maintaining Client relationships Pre-Requisites of the Role:
Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or Project Management is desired Minimum 5 years project management preferably in a senior role Proven experience in projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million Exposure to run autonomously, projects from concept to completion Versatility to cross over into other project sectors Proven ability to prepare and administer tenders/contract Proven performance in managing and meeting programmed objectives within financial parameters and corporate requirements Ideally have a broad project scope and knowledge in all aspects of Rail Civil construction Strong Leadership Skills and Proven track record in People Management Strong Commercial attributes and understanding of cost versus time management Ability to work under pressure Ability to produce works timetables/programs and adhere to contract schedules What we offer:
