AGL's Gas & Renewables team have an opportunity for a Project Manager/Engineer to lead and deliver projects (CAPEX, OPEX & emergent). Project delivery to include the planning and scoping for current year and the 5-year project pipeline.
Based in Melbourne, Adelaide or Mt Beauty, you will be accountable for managing the scoping, planning, scheduling and delivery of projects within the Gas & Renewable electricity generation portfolio.
What you'll be doing: Collaborating with the Asset Engineering team to manage projects from approval, implementation through to closure.Establishing external and internal delivery resources, delivery of project works, including accountability for time, cost and quality of delivery. Also includes but not limited to development of budget, internal and external resources, procurement, outage management, permitting, site mobilisation, quality and financial compliance.Ensure alignment with the Project Management Framework, integrating technical standards and governance protocols to maintain robust control and oversight of all project phases.Drive timely and transparent project reporting, delivering high-level status updates and coordinating complex outages with key stakeholders to minimise operational disruptions.What you'll bring: Bachelor degree in Engineering (preferred but not mandatory).Tertiary qualification or extensive experience in project management of construction projects (preferred in energy industry but not mandatory).Demonstrated experience using Project Management tool Amplify (or equivalent).Proven technical expertise in project management or construction projects.Ability to work within key AS/NZ/ISO documents.Leadership and participation in policy development and application of Project Governance.Experience with Permit to Work systems.Solutions-focused with an ability to collaborate.Applications close 1 November.
