The Company
Primary Dental is one of Australia's largest Dental Support Organisations, supporting a nationwide network of over 200+ independent dentists in 60+ dental centres across Australia. We are a family of 50+ Dental support team members, 300+ Dental Assistants and a Dental Management team made up of people with decades of experience working in and managing dental practices. The Role Assists and coordinates in the creation, implementation, and training of various processes across 62 dental centres. Develops, negotiates, and leads cross-functional projects and services as assigned. Works with various department and stakeholders in identifying and resolving issues concerning dental projects and services in a timely manner. Utilises, contributes to, and trains others on project management. Works closely with the WHS coordinator and National WHS manager to ensure safe working practices, obligations and compliances are adhered to, as per company policies and procedures. Reports safety concerns raised in dental departments to the leadership team. Coordinates with WHS team and dental teams to implement solutions as applicable. Keeps up-to-date with complaints and feedback via intranet and coordinates with Dental State Managers to ensure timely resolution is provided to the relevant party. Advises leadership team on matters needing urgent attention and implements their decisions wherever applicable. Oversees work by dental technicians, contractors and reports on variations to the relevant Dental State Managers. Gathers and analyses project-related data, and reports on project results to the Director of Dental and National Operations Manager. Works with inter-departmental project managers such as IT department, and other stakeholders to ensure that dental project targets are met. Performs other adhoc project responsibilities as needed and ensures projects are delivered on time. Desired Skills and Experience: Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Advanced time management skills and the ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload. Previous practice management experience will be highly regarded. Worked or been involved with different projects. The ability to flag any issues or concerns and escalate. Liaising with a number of different stakeholders both internally and externally.
