This pivotal role involves managing and mentoring the Project Management team, driving the PM community's uplift and supporting complex delivery programs.This role is pivotal in driving delivery excellence, aligning with organisational values and frameworks, and enabling innovation in a dynamic and agile environment.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Management:Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.Oversee resource demands, training, and professional development of the Project Management team.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.Community Uplift:Champion the uplift of the Project Management community within the organisation, promoting best practices and continuous improvement and working with existing PM Managers within the business.Organise and lead workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing events to enhance the skills and capabilities of the PM community.Advocate for the value of Project Delivery in achieving organisational goals and objectives.Delivery Execution & Portfolio Oversight:Oversee the delivery of a diverse portfolio of initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic priorities.Develop and manage quarterly roadmaps, addressing resourcing, cross-business dependencies, sequencing, and risk management.Deliver measurable outcomes through effective execution and reporting.Stakeholder Management & Strategic Partnerships:Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to support strategy development, product roadmaps, and investment decisions.Provide regular updates, dashboards, and metrics to C-level executives, boards, vendors, and regulators.Serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring delivery efforts are customer-focused and aligned with business objectives.Qualifications/Must Haves:Extensive experience in Project Management within the financial services industry.Proven track record of leading and managing a team of project management teams.Strong understanding of Financial Services, products, data and regulatory environment.Demonstrated experience in leading the delivery of complex data programs.10+ years dedicated in project management working on Agile and Waterfall projects.Experience across the full SDLC from early ideation to execution and embedment in BAU.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in Project Management methodologies, tools, and techniques.Ability to inspire and motivate a team, driving continuous improvement and excellence.If you believe that your skill set is a good match for the position, please submit your resume to the role.Please note, we thank all applicants for their interest; however, due to high number of applicants only those successful will be ****** | tel:+61290631144
