Join us as we contribute to this significant transition in the energy sector.About the roleWe have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Project Manager in Power System Security to work with the team to drive the AEMO Transition Plan for System Security, particularly the Operational Transitions Points in the Horizon 1 (2 year) time frame. This will support the power systems move towards 100% Renewables across Australia.This role is a lead role in the Operations Transition team. You will project manage workstreams whilst collaboratively working with key stakeholders and teams across the business and externally working with the network businesses across Australia. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving, defining and managing the technical scope of work/business requirements, stakeholder management, workstream planning, budgets, forecasts and identifying risks and escalating issues for resolution.What you will be doingLead role in Operations managing high profile operational changes.Project manage various Transition workstreams.Development of project plans and reports ensuring alignment with objectives while overseeing project timelines for successful execution.Manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans.Prepare clear, concise, and high quality written and verbal communication, including internal and external reporting writing, executive and board approval documentation.Managing and leading the engagement with internal and external stakeholders on a range of issues for both technical and non-technical audiences.What you will bring to the roleProject management qualifications and stakeholder engagement experience.Demonstrated experience in managing programs of work involving multiple parallel workstreams and deliverables.Strong Energy sector experience is highly desirable.
