Project Manager | North Side | Civil & Earthworks

Job Opportunity: Project ManagerOur client is a Mid Tier Civil Contractor with a proven reputation for delivering complex projects valued at $25 million, both in Queensland and nationally across Australia. They are an Australian-owned company that prides itself on quality delivery outcomes and a working culture unrivaled by any business across the Eastern Seaboard.
Their project hub is located in SE Queensland, but they have recently secured a number of projects on the North Side of Brisbane and are actively looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team on a full-time basis.
As a Project Manager, you will manage a team of 15-20 staff and have full project responsibility, which will include:
Development and control of budgetsReporting of project progressTechnical and delivery strategiesRisk managementProject schedules and deliverablesCommercial and procurement arrangementsScopes of work include Bulk & Detailed Earthworks, Storm Water, Drainage, and Utilities Relocations.
We are looking to speak to driven Project Managers who are team leaders, contractually savvy, and have the capacity to make key decisions that will affect critical project outcomes. To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:
Degree in Civil EngineeringAt least 8 years of civil construction experiencePrior experience working for a Tier 2 or Tier 3 Civil Contractor self-performing worksAbility to lead a team and report to an Operations ManagerProject delivery experience on road construction projects between $5-25 millionMust be an Australian permanent residentFor more information, please call Rory on 0428 026 703 or email ******.
