What you'll be doing The Multicultural Program sits within the Office of Chief Executive which supports organisational-wide strategic planning, evaluation, and reporting, and provides a more connected focus on priority areas in the NSW Cancer Plan, including the multicultural focus area.
In this role you will be part of a high performing team that is looking to drive real change by embedding best practice and delivering impactful projects to improve cancer outcomes of culturally and linguistically diverse communities including refugee communities. You will also have the ability to
develop, deliver and evaluate a range of projects that aim to achieve equity of cancer outcome at a system level, and partner with diverse stakeholders in the cancer system including consumer groups, local health districts, non-government and settlement organisations, and primary care providers.
Remuneration/Benefits In addition to base salary:
11% superannuation 4 weeks annual leave (plus 17.5% leave loading) 10 days sick leave. 40 hours per week which include accrual of monthly Allocated Day Off (ADO) x 12 per year. Access to:

Essential requirements Relevant tertiary qualifications in a health discipline, management or related discipline, or relevant industry experience in the multicultural sector. Excellent understanding of the health needs of culturally and linguistically diverse communities including a knowledge of relevant trends, issues, policies and practices. Demonstrated experience in developing equitable outcome strategies for culturally and linguistically diverse communities through strategic planning, project design, implementation and evaluation within an evidence-based framework for multicultural or refugee communities. Demonstrated ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful program implementation and sustainability. If successful for interview candidates must bring original copies of essential qualifications to be sighted by the panel, and one copy to provide to panel.

what strategies you used in the project design and implementation including detail of the evidence base and analysis of any relevant policies; the variety of stakeholders involved; project evaluation; and what equitable outcomes were delivered as a result of the project.
