About the OpportunityWe are now looking for a full-time Project Manager based out of our client's mine sites in Ironbark or Carborough Downs, QLD. The Project Manager will play a crucial role onsite, reporting directly to the Underground Operations Manager, responsible for managing day-to-day operations and various team activities.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Planning daily activities and integrating tasks into the 24-hour and weekly schedulesManaging stock to ensure constant availability of necessary suppliesConducting weekly invoicing and reviewing timesheetsScoping work for accurate quoting and processing purchase ordersLiaising with site stakeholders to maintain project alignmentOverseeing underground crews to secure optimal manning levelsMonitoring team and individual performancesProviding routine progress reports to Blackrock/BMS ManagementAbout YouTo qualify for this role, you must hold a current S123 G2 and Standard 11 (Surface and Underground) certification (or be willing to obtain them). Essential to this role is a minimum of 4 years experience in the Underground Coal Mining Industry with a focus on ventilation, secondary support and consolidation. Additionally, a valid "C" Class Australian driver's licence is required.
