Project Manager – Major Projects Lead the delivery of key rehabilitation projects F band opportunity Perth based with travel to site About the role We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to manage the remediation, demolition, reprofiling and rehabilitation of former operations in the North-West of Australia. This is a great opportunity to lead a delivery focused team and collaborate with asset owners to provide project delivery expertise in studies and planning. This role is integral to the success of the overall project objectives. Reporting to the Managing Director Projects and working in a regionally focused but globally connected team, you will be: Leading project execution activities including HSEQ performance, scope delivery and realisation of the overall project objectives. Fostering a high performing team culture through a considered design approach including coaching and mentoring. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to drive a culture of collaboration, awareness, accountability, participation, and improvement. Establishing strategic plans and priorities in conjunction with key stakeholders and ensuring appropriate resources are available. Managing the project review and approvals process for development of studies and project execution. Managing contracting partner relationships and delivery of contract obligations including performance against contract deliverables. Monitoring project performance and compliance with project systems, processes and procedures, and managing effective issue resolution. What you'll bring A strong commitment to safety and environmental performance Demonstrated Capital Project Management and Commerce skills with extensive project management experience, preferably in demolition or construction projects, sustaining capital projects, and/or mining operations Experience with local business and community engagement Strong collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to lead teams working in remote sites Tertiary qualifications in Geo or Geo-technical sciences, Environmental, Social Sciences and/or Engineering What we offer Be recognised for your contribution, your thinking and your hard work, and go home knowing you've helped the world progress.
