Your new companyOne of the leading councils which focusses on their work being connected and integrated and celebrating their successes.Your new roleReporting to the Landfill and Transfer Station Manager, you'll:Manage a broad portfolio of landfill projects, establish appropriate project management documentation, control and coordination.Ensure assigned projects are delivered on time, budget and to specifications set out in project documentation.Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to the project team.Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with suppliers and contractors.Effectively communicate project issues, approaches and results through the preparation of high-quality briefings and presentations for superintendent and superintendent's representative.What you'll need to succeedAs well as a tertiary qualification in Science, Engineering or another relevant field, you'll have:Demonstrated extensive experience leading and/or contributing to the planning, delivery and communication of complex landfills or with waste site construction.Demonstrated record of achievement in project management of complex projects in dynamic operating environments.Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills with demonstrated experience working in landfill and environmental engineeringExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to consult meaningfully with stakeholders and the community, prepare high level briefings and reports for senior leaders and convey technical, specialist and complex conceptsWhat you'll get in returnBe a part of this amazing team, where you will receive the opportunity to work for an established local government authority that values work-life balance and offers flexible work arrangements to suit employee and business needs, as well as other great benefits.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' or forward an up-to-date copy of your CV to ******.
