01st January, 2025Rokon is one of Victoria's prominent Civil Construction contractors.
We are currently experiencing significant growth and have a healthy pipeline of projects on the horizon.
Due to this, we currently have an exciting opportunity available for a PM to join our team in the Western and Northern suburbs of Melbourne.
About the role
Our Engineering team is known for their project management expertise, working closely with our construction teams on site, you will be:
Manage contracts and technical engineering specifications for each projectManage all stakeholders' groups including subcontractors, councils and relevant authoritiesDevelop project schedules, budgets, purchase orders, quotes, contract variations and all other plans for each project.Participate in, and contribute to, contract and tender review processes with the Senior Estimator as required.Conduct reviews of each project (whilst active and post completion) with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all opportunities for improvement are identified and implemented in future projects.Proactively develop client relationships by anticipating and providing solutions to client needs and giving high priority to client satisfaction.Delegate appropriate tasks and duties to the EngineersGuide, lead, coach and advise Graduate, Site and Project Engineers to be able to perform their roleEnsure that quality and HSE requirements for each project are documented and communicated.About you
We'd love you to be able to have:
Tertiary qualification in Civil EngineeringMinimum 5 years' engineering experience within the civil construction industry, with subdivision exposureAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsEstimate from first principlesSkilled in all MS Office applications including MS Project and ExcelAdvanced analytical skills and ability to challenge existing practices to identify justifiable improvement opportunitiesStrong communication skills, both oral and written with a demonstrated ability to discuss a wide range of issues to people across all levels of the organisationExcellent relationship building, problem solving, negotiation and leadership skillsA positive, proactive, can-do attitude, combined with strong time management and organisation skillsSelf-motivated and can demonstrate initiativeHigh personal and professional work standards with sound planning and organisational skillsOH&S Induction White Card and current Victorian driver's licence are essentialOn Offer
