Synchro Partners is partnering with one of the leading not for profit organizations in Victoria, who are known for their contribution to communities and broader social circles alike and they are seeking an IT Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of a key enterprise project, including the implementation of enterprise applications.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and work directly with executives and senior managers as part of project steering committees, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a dynamic project manager who can navigate complex challenges, communicate effectively, and manage both teams and budgets seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the end-to-end management of a crucial rostering project, from initiation through to delivery. Drive the implementation of enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with business needs. Create comprehensive project plans, covering scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and align the project with business goals. Partner with executives and senior managers in steering committee meetings for project direction and guidance. Track project progress, identify risks, and develop strategies to address them. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing issues as they arise. Manage project budgets to ensure optimal resource utilization. Conduct post-project reviews to drive improvements and foster continuous learning. Exposure to Time & Attendance / Rostering will be well regarded. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field. 5+ years of experience in project management, with a preference for IT projects. Experience in managing projects in the retail, healthcare, or insurance sectors is highly valued. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMBOK). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate and resolve conflicts. Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
