About the Opportunity The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing and driving CDPG projects from initiation to successful completion.
This role requires expertise in plumbing systems, exceptional project management skills and strong leadership capabilities.
The Project Manager will lead by example, mentoring and managing a team to deliver outstanding results.
Who are we looking for? As the ideal candidate, you will have at least 5 years in commercial construction with demonstrable and successful management experience in small to large construction contracts.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Coordinate sequencing of works, labour and productivity on site.Report monthly forecasting cost to complete and productivity.Assist with project claims and payment schedules.Notify the builder of variations and complete within contractual requirements.Manage industrial issues that may arise on site and liaise with Directors.Prepare draft O&M Manual in conjunction with Project Administrator.Organise as-built drawings throughout the project for completion.Coordinate all materials, pump/equipment and fixture requirements with the Group Purchasing Department.Ensure all project risks are identified and appropriately addressed.Develop the level of compliance, capability and maturity of the risk management process on all projects.Implement QA with the Site Manager, spot check and complete audits throughout the project.Liaise with WHSE Manager to provide a WHSE Plan for the project and obtain approval from the builder.Appoint sub-contractors and manage WHSE documents prior to engagement.Skills and Experience To be successful in this role the Project Manager will ideally have the following:
Diploma in Construction / Project Management ideal, but not essential.Plumbing Trade Certificate highly regarded.Experience with Aconex, Bluebeam, Project Web, Pro contractor.Commercial acumen within the construction industry.The ability to work independently, as a team member and in varied working environments.Organisation and time management skills.High level of verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate with a wide variety of people including managing relationships with external clients/suppliers/contractors etc.So why work for us?
