Aussie Fluid Power is looking for a dynamic Project Manager to join our multi-discipline engineering team based in North Coogee.
As the Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, to specifications and within budget.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include: Manage the execution of hydraulic, process and hydrogen packages from order receipt to delivery using our project management tools.Manage, coordinate, plan and forecast the project resource requirements.Manage and assist engineers with performing calculations, components selection, design and generation of project documentation.Manage project teams, ensuring that priorities are set, and that deadlines are met.Liaise with clients regarding technical and commercial issues.Provide workshop instructions, documentation and assist workshop team during assembly and testing stages.About You All the attributes of a successful Project Manager, such as communication, negotiation, risk management, attention to detail, adaptability, problem-solving, creativity, cost management and organisational skills.A technical understanding of the design and manufacturing of fluid/gas process packages or hydraulic/pneumatic systems is highly desirable.Proficiency with project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Trello, or similar.Knowledge of various manufacturing and fabrication practices (e.g. welding, NDT, machining, painting, passivation).Ability to read / interpret hydraulic schematics, P&IDs, mechanical GA drawings, fabrication drawings and optionally electrical drawings.Relevant qualifications and a successful track record in project management experience in engineering.About Us Aussie Fluid Power (AFP) is the leading hydraulic and process equipment specialist in Western Australia, headquartered in North Coogee.
