Drive and deliver outcomes across business projects within the operations function of a global organisation.Establish user friendly Project Management frameworks and roll them out across the business.Sydney Based role with competitive $$ + Bonus.Reporting to the Global Head of Operations, the Project Manager role is a newly created position designed to deliver impactful results across their business operations.This role will be managing all business related projects (outside of IT, technology and systems) and will see you working across a diverse portfolio of projects, both long-term and short-term, each varying in scope, scale, and region.You'll work closely with functional leads across their global network to ensure consistency and alignment.
You will also be responsible for developing a robust project management framework to enhance how the business executes its projects globally.RoleLead the planning and execution of organisation-wide projects within the operations function.Serve as a project management advisor and coach, embedding project principles globally.Track, report, and maintain oversight of live projects, keeping senior leadership informed of milestones, challenges, and progress.Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, identifying dependencies, resources, and timelines.Anticipate and manage risks, ensuring solutions align with legal, compliance, and policy standards.Ensure all projects meet agreed quality, budget, and time requirements while producing clear documentation such as governance reports, status updates, and risk assessments.Support organisational change with strategies that drive team engagement and adoption of project outcomes.ExperienceWe are looking for someone with experience delivering projects within operations functions, across topics such as fleet management, transport, facility management and health and safety.Ideally you'll also bring:A solid foundation in leading and managing complex, large-scale operational focused projects with measurable outcomes.Experience working across different industries; Education is a plus.A recognised project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, or PMP) and expertise across multiple methodologies.Previous experience of setting up a PMO function.Outstanding relationship-building and communication skills, with a knack for collaborating across varied teams and stakeholders.A forward thinker who remains calm in fast-evolving environments and confidently makes strategic and operational decisions.Familiarity with organisational change and development approaches, along with experience crafting policies and procedures.Possess a positive, energetic mindset.
