Your Role:The Project Manager is responsible for:
Developing and executing comprehensive project plans, particularly for testing and implementation stages.Monitoring and controlling project progress, identifying potential risks and issues, and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and quality.Ensuring project deliverables meet regulatory requirements and comply with industry best practices.Identifying and engaging with key project stakeholders, including business units, Executives, and external partners.Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including Testing and Implementation documentation.Preparing and presenting regular project status updates to relevant stakeholders, providing insights on project performance, risks, and achievements.Ensuring all project documentation adheres to the Bank's established documentation standards.About You:To be successful in the role you will demonstrate the below key attributes and experience:
Solid understanding of the banking industry (desirable).Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Sound technical specification writing/documentation skills.An appreciation of both IT and business strategy.Fantastic stakeholder management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Passionate self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.Problem solver who can operate under pressure.Superior time management skills and commitment to timelines allow you to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall Project Management certifications.Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry experience (IT and/or Business).Minimum of 2 years in a similar role or equivalent essential.Benefits:Working with Australian Military Bank will provide you access to a great range of benefits including:
